Registered address and business scope
Two items cause more friction than almost any other part of setup: where the company is registered and what it is allowed to do.
Registered address. Yuncheng requires a real, documented address. You can lease commercial office space, use an industrial or warehouse site, or — for many service and trading activities — use a registered-address provider that supplies a compliant address plus mail handling. Some districts and development zones offer enterprise service centres, but do not assume incentives or subsidies; ask the zone directly and get any offer in writing. Addresses must match the property certificate and lease, and the tax authority may visit or request evidence that the address is genuine.
Business scope. Scope wording is standardized and appears on the licence. It should cover what you actually plan to do — for example, food sales, machinery manufacturing, technology development, or import/export — because banks, customers and tax officials read it. Activities outside the scope can create compliance problems. If your plans will change, structure the scope broadly enough at the start, and remember that some activities (food, hazardous chemicals, certain equipment) require separate licences before operations begin.
- Match the lease, address certificate and licence address exactly.
- Keep scope wording to approved standard phrases.
- Confirm any pre-approval needs for regulated activities.
